We caught up with Health Enthusiast Davida "Vida", to chat with her about some quick, simple, & easy work-out and diet tips!


Tell me a little about yourself?

My name is Vida. I was born and raised in Durham, NC and currently live in the the DMV area. I became super passionate about health and fitness after my weight loss journey a few years ago. After I incorporated a consistent workout regimen and transitioned to a healthier diet, everything in my life shifted for the better. I believe it’s imperative to take care of your God-given temple, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically.


How do manage a busy schedule & healthy eating?

I meal prep throughout my work week, Monday - Friday and eat “freely” but still majority clean on the weekends. I’m a teacher, so I’m busy during the day. Meal prepping has made it easier for me to stay on track with my fitness, by ensuring I have healthy meals available. Meal prepping has also save me tons of money!


What is your "go to" meal?

Salmon, 1/2 cup of brown rice, 1 cup of veggies (I love asparagus and zucchini!!!)


What are some of your favorite exercises that don't require a gym yet still work up a good sweat?
